本课程是为具有一学年汉语学习基础的留学生（已掌握约2000个词汇，180个语法项目）开设的一门必修课，通过本课程的学习，使留学生在原有词汇的基础上，进一步增加词汇学习，并对重点语法与句子结构有较好地认知，提高留学生对汉语语言的综合应用能力。本课程6学分，一学期有108学时。
