本院与兄弟院校和海内外企业合作，打造“语言+”特色专业，助力跨国人才创新创业。目前与三十多个国家和办学机构建立了合作，为20多个国家和区域培养了上千名留学生。本院开办有初级、中级、高级汉语课程，有短期、中期、长期汉语进修班。有“电商汉语”、“物流汉语”等专业，还有全英文授课或双语授课的“国际经济与贸易”、“国际商务”、“跨境电子商务”、“酒店管理”等专业。同时，与职业技术学院合作开办面向海内外企业培养各类应用技术人才的大中专职业教育。
本院特聘法国汉学家白乐桑先生、字本位汉语理论家潘文国先生做客座教授，创办中国第一家“字本位汉语语用教学研究中心”，广泛开展与国内外汉字汉语研究团队合作，创立帮助留学生快速掌握汉语文的高效教材教法。

Introducing CIE
Aiming to “become a prestigious private university providing skill-based undergraduate education with an international dimension”, Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages ranked first for the recent three years in Zhejiang Province in terms of undergraduate college internationalization. College of International Education (CIE) persists in “responsibility, characteristics, cooperation, efficiency”, “honor global talent, educate global citizens”. CIE strives to build well-qualified Chinese education platform and help secure the success of foreign students humanely and kindly.
CIE cooperates with other universities and enterprises home and abroad, and builds “Chinese +” majors, helping foreign talent to innovate and start up business. CIE has cooperated with more than 30 countries or institutions and has educated at least 1000 foreign students. Primary, intermediate and senior Chinese courses offered in CIE have covered short-term, medium-term and long-term projects. Presently, CIE has offered many majors, including “Chinese+ E-commerce”，“Chinese+ Logistics Management”, etc. Besides, “International Business and Trade”, “International Commerce”, “Cross-border E-commerce” and “Hospitality Management” are offered both in English and bilingual teaching. Besides, CIE promotes school-enterprise cooperation, cultivating technical talent for foreign and domestic enterprises.
CIE invited French sinologist Joel Bellassen and Zi-centered Chinese theorist Pan Wenguo as visiting professors. In order to help foreign students to learn Chinese and Chinese characters quickly, CIE explores effective teaching materials and methods, aiming at founding the first Zi-centered Chinese Pragmatic Teaching and Research Center in China.
Adhering to “good service, high quality”, CIE makes great efforts to build a cozy home for foreign students in Yuexiu, cultivate more and more messengers of “One Belt, One Road” civilization and contribute itself to the “Chinese dream”.
