新年好！
近期中国多地发生新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，一场关系到每一个人生命健康的疫情防控战已经打响。为保障各位留学生的身体健康，如下重要事项特此告知：
假期留校或未离开中国的留学生，请做到以下几点：
1.严肃对待，积极防护。减少不必要的出行，避免参加各种集会聚餐，避免外出旅游和走访亲友，避免和疫情城市人员接触。外出戴口罩，及时洗手；室内勤开窗通风；合理作息，不熬夜，不过度疲劳，加强体育锻炼，改善心肺功能，提高个人体质和免疫力；不接待亲朋好友来家里或留学生公寓。
2.针对目前发生的新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，希望留学生们从官方渠道学习、了解相关知识和信息，不信谣、不传谣，科学防控，不恐慌；学院会通过微信公众号、微信群等各种方式发布有关疫情防控知识，请大家认真学习掌握，共同做好疫情防控。
3.如去过武汉或与来自武汉的人员有接触，为自身及身边人的安全健康考虑，请不要隐瞒，务必及时告知学校。请密切监测自身身体状况，如果出现发热、乏力、干咳等疑似症状，特别是持续发热不退的，请及时告知学校，积极配合相关部门排查、隔离和诊治。
关于下学期开学时间：
根据中国国务院通知，全国各类院校将推迟开学时间。学院会根据疫情和学校的实际情况，对开学时间和返校时间作出通知，请大家先不要购买机票，并及时关注学院官方微信公众号发布的信息，做好自身防护工作，并与班主任、辅导员保持密切联系。

Emergency notice for all the international students
Dear international students:
Since there is an ongoing outbreak of new strain of coronavirus in Wuhan and other areas in China, there are some important things you should know:
If you stay in the school or in China on vacation, please do as followings:
1. Avoid travelling or meeting outside, wear the mask when you go outside and wash hands frequently. Making arrangements for routine for a reasonable, appropriate physical training. Do not allow others to stay with you at home or in International Students’ Apartment.
2. In view of the current outbreak of pneumonia caused by a new coronavirus infection, we hope that you will learn and understand relevant knowledge and information from the official channels, do not believe rumours, do not spread rumors, and prevent and control scientifically. We will release knowledge about epidemic prevention and control through various ways such as WeChat platform and WeChat group. Please earnestly study and master and jointly do epidemic prevention and control.
3. If you have been to Wuhan or have contact with people from Wuhan, please inform the school in time. In case of fever, fatigue, dry cough and other suspected symptoms, especially the persistent fever, please inform the school in time, actively cooperate with the relevant departments for troubleshooting, isolation and diagnosis and treatment, please closely monitor your physical condition, and prevent travel and party with illness.
About the exact opening time of next semester:
According to the State Council Notice the start of the spring semester for all schools across the country will be suspended.
The College of International Education will notify the opening time and returning time of next semester according to the situation at that time.
Please don’t buy the flight tickets in advance and pay attention to the information released by the official WeChat platform in time, and keep close contact with the head teacher and counselor of College of International Education.
